Long Stem Float, Coated

Long Stem Coated Float W/Guide Tube. This float gets an additional Polyurthane Coating for added protection and longer life. Made with 316 grade Stainless Steel. This float is optional for all Birmingham Manufacturing 4″ deep condensate evap pans. It comes with the guide tube, 1 star washer and 2 nuts for attachment. It can also substitute as a replacement float for most Supco and Fisher condensate evap pans.  Our Coated Float has 2 features that make it a significantly longer life float as compared to anything else on the market.  First, we have domed the top of the float to allow water to simply fall off the float and not collect at the middle of the float where the rod attaches to the float.  The second feature is the polyurethane coating that not only covers the complete float, but actually extends about 1″ above the connecting point between the float and the float stem.  This along with the shape of the float keeps the condensate from collecting neat the attachment point and slowly corroding the weld attaching the stem to the float.
